This position is responsible for the data entry and interpretation of court orders and other legal paperwork into three different crime database systems. These dynamic positions offer support in the jail system by calculating time for inmates and verifying certain program eligibility requirements for inmates. Careful attention to detail, basic math skills, excellent communication and computer skills are required for this position and a college degree in a related field is preferred.
Court Security Specialist
This hands-on job is the first impression that many of the public will get of the Sheriff’s Office while entering either one of our courts buildings. These employees screen the public entering our court facilities to ensure no contraband or restricted items enter. A focus on customer service, communication, and previous security experience are positive attributes to have if interested in this career.
