On Tuesday, Feb. 21, there will be a special election held for the 4th Congressional District - United States House of Representatives. View Governor's Order (PDF).

Only those registered in the 4th Congressional District are eligible to vote in the Special Election. Only those precincts located in the 4th Congressional District (PDF) will be open election day.

Special Election Deadlines
Friday, Feb. 10
Last day to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you (request must be received in the Registrar's Office by 5 p.m.).
Tuesday, Feb. 14
Last day to register to vote or update an existing registration.
Tuesday, Feb. 18
Last day of Early Voting.
Early Voting begins Friday, Jan. 6, 2023
In-person voting at the Registrar's Office (9848 Lori Road, Chesterfield, VA 23235)
- Monday - Friday: Friday, Jan. 6 – Friday, Feb. 17, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Saturdays, Feb. 11 and Feb. 18, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Please note that satellite locations for early voting are open only during November General Elections.
Ballot drop boxes will be available the same dates, times and locations listed above for in-person, early voting. In addition, the drobox will be available at the General Registrar’s Office on Monday, Feb. 20, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Drop boxes will also be available at all regular polling places on Election Day, Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Election Day voting for Chesterfield County voters will be available at all regular 4th Congressional polling places, Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
