Route 10 Widening, Bermuda Triangle Road to Meadowville Road

This project involves widening Route 10 between Bermuda Triangle Road and Meadowville Road to eight lanes, with signalized improvements to the intersection of Route 10 at Meadowville Road, and widening of Meadowville Road from Route 10 to Hogan's Alley to six lanes. The project has been partially funded by the Governor’s Transportation Initiative of 2011, additional federal funds secured by the county, and local funds.

Branscome Inc. was awarded the construction contract. Construction began Oct. 14, 2019 and completion is anticipated in spring 2023.

Traffic Impacts

A new traffic signal activation planned at the intersection of Rivers Bend Boulevard and Meadowville Road. The signal will start operating in flash mode on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, and then convert to full operation on Thursday, May 11, 2023 (weather permitting). Please use caution while driving through the work zone.
