Human Services Non-Profit Collaborative

Community Partners Working Together

The Chesterfield County Human Services Non-Profit Collaborative seeks to connect, empower and serve the needs of those who live, learn, work and play in Chesterfield County through collaboration with our community partners. We believe we are stronger when we work together.

Established in December 2020 with Chesterfield residents as our catalyst, we aim to partner with non-profit agencies to improve access to services for our residents, create connections with the community and strengthen partner collaboration as we seek to serve Chesterfield County and the surrounding localities. Message from the Deputy County Administrator for Human Services

In 2020, we embarked on an initiative to bring together non-profits from Chesterfield County and the regional areas. Our objective was for community partners to work together to empower and serve the needs of those who live and gather in Chesterfield County. We understood very early that we serve our clients more effectively when we offer the services they need, in a manner they can use, that our work is stronger when the community joins us, and we, as human service-focused agencies, serve better when we work together.

We are stronger when we connect, collaborate, and join forces to leave a footprint in our communities. Thank you for making programs and services available to so many and for delivering services that provide critical care, aid and opportunities to our residents.

Chesterfield County is proud to partner with you!

James D. Worsley, Ph.D.
Deputy County Administrator for Human Services
