Youth Unity Day

Youth Citizens Board under Citizen and Information Resources and led by Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation held the inaugural Youth Unity Day on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Youth Unity Day was created after a nine-month discovery of social equity and inclusion by the Youth Citizen Board and facilitated by Parks and Recreation.

During Youth Unity Day 2022, attendees engaged in a park cleanup and art project celebrating the diversity of our youth and community. The art project resulted in multiple paintings that depict diversity and unity that are displayed in county buildings.
