Title VI Plan
Chesterfield Community Services Board (CCSB) is committed to ensuring that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity, whether those programs and activities are federally funded or not. For additional information on CSB’s Title VI Plan, please contact W. David Meadows, Assistant Director, at 804-706-2561.
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Chesterfield Community Services Board (CCSB), in accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs or activities.
CCSB will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aides and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in our programs, services and activities.
Modification to Policies and Procedures: CCSB will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services and activities.
Anyone who requires auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in our program, service or activity, should contact our ADA Coordinator at 804-706-2561 as soon as possible to no later than 48 hour before the scheduled event.
The ADA does not require the CCSB take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services or impose any undue financial or administrative burden.
Complaints that a CCSB program, service or activity is not accessible to persons with disabilities should be directed to our ADA Coordinator at 804-706-2561.
CCSB will not place a surcharge on a particular individual with a disability or any group of individuals with disabilities to cover the cost of providing auxiliary aids, services or reasonable modifications of policy.
For additional information on CSB’s nondiscrimination policies and procedures, please contact W. David Meadows, Assistant Director and ADA Coordinator, at 804-706-2561.
