- Route 60, Village of Midlothian, Corridor Study
The Chesterfield County Department of Transportation is seeking input from citizens on the Route 60, Village of Midlothian, Corridor Improvement Study, which identifies improvements consistent with the vision and goals of the Midlothian Special Area Plan adopted in 2019. The county is looking for feedback from anyone who lives, works, plays, or receives services along the Route 60 corridor. Feedback about the proposed improvements can be given on the project website through Friday, April 28. The feedback received will help the county determine how to meet transportation needs in that area. The project website outlines the tentative schedule, provides an overview of the study, proposed improvements, conceptual sketches, and a place for citizens to submit their feedback. A summary of the feedback is expected to be available for review in May 2023 and will be posted to the project page.
A study is underway to identify improvements along Route 60 consistent with the vision and goals of the Midlothian Special Area Plan. The study will include development of conceptual sketches, cost estimates and public involvement materials.
The study is complete please see links above for study review and input.
