The Agribusiness Promotion and Development Committee promotes agritourism activities and agribusiness development in the county.

The vision of the Chesterfield County Airport is for a safe, well maintained general aviation reliever airport where people desire to work, visit, conduct business and operate or base an aircraft.

Appeals Panel Pursuant to Virginia Set-Off Debt
The Virginia Set-off Debt Collection Act (“Act”) was adopted to reduce the number of outstanding debts owed to State agencies and localities. The Act authorizes the Virginia Department of Taxation (“Department”) to assist state agencies, departments and localities in collection delinquent debts by setting-off against individual income tax refunds the sum of any debt owed to the agency or locality by the individual eligible for a refund.

Community Policy and Management Team
The Children’s Services Act requires that each local government, or combination of governments, establish a Community Policy and Management Team to coordinate agency efforts to manage available funds from the State Pool Fund and ensure that eligible youths receive access to services.

Community Transportation Advisory Committee
The committee reviews plans that are proposed to resolve regional transportation problems. The committee serves in advisory capacity to the Richmond Regional Transportation Planning Commission (TPO).

This Committee serves as a point of regular contact between the School Board and the Board of Supervisors. While the Audit and Finance Committee (AFC) also represents joint participation of County and School Board members, this Committee will focus on other topics of mutual interest.

Preservation Committee
The Preservation Committee reviews and comments on applications for historic sites or districts. Once a local landmark has been designated by the Board of Supervisors, the Committee reviews all changes (other than routine maintenance) to the exterior of the building of site.
