Let’s work together and help enhance Chesterfield County as a First Choice business community!
Spring is in the air! Which means it is the time of year when Chesterfield residents are cleaning up their homes and properties to get them looking good for gatherings in the summer months to come.
Also each spring, two departments of Chesterfield County, Community Enhancement and General Services, team up to kick-off the Cover Your Load campaign, which focuses on preventing roadway distractions.
Given this, the Keep Chesterfield Beautiful Team would like to send a gentle reminder to please cover your load when heading to the county’s Convenience Centers to dispose of trash and unwanted items or your trash may end up on the side of the road.
Remember: tarps, ties and straps - all part of the Cover Your Load 2021 campaign!
Below: The county would like to express much appreciation to Calvin Vonada of the Keep Chesterfield Beautiful Team for stopping and cleaning up the photographed trash spill on Courthouse Road near the entrance to Rockwood Park on Monday, March 22, 2021.
