Statewide COVID-19 Vaccine Pre-Registration System
The new statewide COVID-19 vaccine pre-registration system is available at vaccinate.virginia.gov or by calling 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682). The Commonwealth’s centralized system allows individuals to easily pre-register for the free vaccine, confirm that they are on the wait list and learn more about Virginia’s vaccination program. Please note that the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) states it still may be weeks or months until you will be contacted regarding scheduling a COVID-19 vaccination appointment.
(If you have previously filled out an online form or called the VDH Chesterfield Health District Call Center to be added to the pre-registration waitlist (prior to 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12), your submitted information has been automatically imported into the new statewide system.)
The statewide call center, 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682), is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is staffed by 750 live operators who can answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccine and assist with pre-registration. The call center has English- and Spanish-speaking agents, as well as a call-back service in more than 100 other languages. TTY service is available to assist those who are deaf or hard of hearing. If wait times are long, Virginians can choose to get a call back and avoid having to stay on hold.
Visit the VDH COVID-19 Vaccination Response webpage for more information on the COVID-19 vaccine in Virginia. Visit the VDH Chesterfield Health District webpage for Chesterfield Health District-specific information.
VDH COVID-19 Vaccination Phase Determination Tool
Use the VDH “When Can I Get Vaccinated?” tool as a phase determination tool - this tool is not for the COVID-19 vaccination pre-registration waitlist.
