State and local revenue sharing funds and CVTA funds have been obtained to extend Woolridge Road from Route 288 to Old Hundred Road to improve the local road network.

A short 14-day closure of the existing Woolridge Road at the intersection with Old Hundred Road is anticipated during construction. Old Hundred Road (east-west) will continue to stay open to traffic at all times.
Design is underway. Right-of-way phase is anticipated to begin in October of 2023. Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2024. Prior to construction the selected road contractor will hold a public "Pardon our Dust" meeting to discuss their detailed construction schedule.
