State and local revenue sharing funds have been obtained to extend Woolridge Road from Route 288 to Old Hundred Road to improve the local road network. A virtual design public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 12, 2021 , from 6-7:00 p.m. to offer you an opportunity to ask questions about the project using Zoom’s chat feature. Attendees are required to register for the Zoom meeting by providing their name and email address on the Design Public Hearing Website.
All materials that would typically be provided at an in-person meeting will be posted on the project website noted above and remain on the website through January 26th, 2021. Those materials include, but are not limited to, a handout providing project details, exhibits showing project alignment and proposed improvements, roadway and bridge typical sections, roundabout details, traffic study, environmental document and a video of the roundabout operations.
Old Hundred Road and Woolridge Road will remain open to traffic at all times. Some alternating lane closures may be necessary during construction.
Design is underway. Construction is anticipated to begin 2023.
