Non-Discrimination Policy
Title VI Plan
Chesterfield Citizen Information and Resources (CIR) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of its transit services based on race, color or national origin, as protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (PDF).
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Chesterfield Citizen Information and Resources (CIR) - Mobility Services, in accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs or activities.
CIR Mobility Services will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aides and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in our programs, services and activities.
Modification to Policies and Procedures: CIR Mobility Services will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services and activities.
Anyone who requires auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of polies or procedures to participate in our program, service or activity, should contact our Mobility Coordinator at 804-751-4663 as soon as possible to no later than 48 hour before the scheduled event.
The ADA does not require the CIR take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services or impose any undue financial or administrative burden.
Complaints that a CIR Mobility Services program, service or activity is not accessible to persons with disabilities should be directed to our Mobility Coordinator at 804-751-4663.
CIR Mobility Services will not place a surcharge on a particular individual with a disability or any group of individuals with disabilities to cover the cost of providing auxiliary aids, services or reasonable modifications of policy.
