Adopt A Spot November 2018 Newsletter

Welcome to our new Adopt-A-Spot volunteers to Chesterfield County's Keep Chesterfield Beautiful program.  The new FY19 members are:

Congratulations!  During FY18, you volunteered 700 hours to remove 6 tons of litter and debris from 423 miles of roadway in our county.  FY19 to date, you have volunteered 157 hours to remove 1.3 tons of litter from 114 miles of roadway.

Thank you for making an environmental difference in Chesterfield County.  You have enhanced the beauty of the county which provides extraordinary quality of life.  The Adopt-A-Spot volunteers are truly responsible protectors of the environment.  Our outreach events have grown our community partnerships and we look forward to new projects/programs in 2019. 

Special Awards - 2018 Arnie Patton Award

Congratulations Gwen and Jere Talbot.  The Talbot team removed 0.2 tons of litter from the Irongate community as well as beautifying the common areas in their neighborhood.  Teamwork at its best!  Thank you, Gwenn and Jere, for your dedication and passion in keeping Chesterfield County clean and green.
