When you enter the courthouse
Arrive at the courthouse well before your appearance time.
You should allow time to walk from the parking lots to the court building.
Pass through the metal detectors before going into the appropriate courtroom.
Once in the courtroom, stay in the courtroom until your case is called.
The clerks cannot check in the courtroom to see if your case has been called.
Depending on the size of the dockets, court can sometimes last all day.
Not allowed in courthouse
The Court prohibits:
ALL electronic devices
including but not limited to:
Cell phones that include a camera
Tablets
Laptop computers
Radios
Video games
MP3 devices
DVD and CD players
Tape recorders
ANYTHING that could be used as a weapon
including but not limited to:
Guns
Knives
Scissors
Nail trimmers
Knitting needles
Food and drink are allowed
ONLY IN RESTRICTED AREAS.
No smoking is allowed.
