Please Note: Cash Proffers

With the implementation of the new Enterprise Land Management system, the process for remitting cash proffers to the county has changed.

Once you have received a final building permit an invoice can be created to pay a cash proffer either online or in person at the Building Inspection office. To have a cash proffer invoice created, please call the Department of Budget and Management at 804-748-1548 or email David Oakley. All calls and emails will be returned within 24 hours.

If an invoice has been created, cash proffer payments can also be mailed to the Department of Building Inspection, 9901 Lori Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832 or deposited in the Treasurer’s Drop box located outside of the Lane B. Ramsey Administration Building.

Be sure the building permit number, property address and customer’s return address are included with all payments.
