Our Mission

To develop and improve community assets, which assists families in raising healthy children. To accomplish this, we partner with, collaborate with, and support the work of various groups and organizations in the City, and surrounding communities. To accomplish our goals, the agency has developed numerous programs to assist youth in becoming successful students, law-abiding citizens and healthier teens.

Accepts youth, adults, and families.


The purpose of the Youth Services Commission shall be to determine the priority of providing services for youth and their families, and to promote opportunities for wholesome youth development in the City of Colonial Heights. Youth Advisory Council: is a leadership organization for youth in grades 6 to 12. YAC is a link between Colonial Heights youth and City Council. The overall goal of this program is to instill a sense of pride in our community and promote responsible citizenship.
