Chesterfield County Communications & Media

Our Mission

To provide a reliable, strategic communications link between county government and the residents of Chesterfield County and to provide information and support to the media, other external groups and county departments. Assistance is provided to the Board of Supervisors, the county administrator, county departments and other officials through public information, media relations, graphic design services, videography and community outreach. The department plays a key role in enhancing the county's professional image as a "First Choice" community by communicating about the county's many programs, services and attributes.

The department of Communications and Media provides monthly district e-newsletters to subscribers who wish to receive information from the Board of Supervisors about county programs, meetings, services and events.
