Comfort Zone Camp

Our Mission

To provide grieving children with a voice, a place and a community in which to heal, grow and lead more fulfilling lives.

Camp for children ages 7 to 17 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver (18 year-olds still attending high school also qualify for these camps).


Camp stay is usually weekend-long; week and long weekend available over the summer.

  • Accepts Volunteers: Yes, must be 15 older
  • Ages: 7 to 17
  • Fees: No. All Comfort Zone Camp services are free of charge due to generous donations from individuals, corporations, civic organizations and foundation grants.
