Community Facilities Bond PlanFeatured Project: Midlothian Library Replacement

A contract has been awarded for the design and construction of a replacement library on the existing Midlothian Library site (the existing library will be demolished). The estimated cost of this project $18 million and the projected completion date is 2023.

Chesterfield County, in accordance with state code and the County Charter, prepares a five-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The CIP, revised annually, is a long-term planning tool that guides the design, financing, construction and maintenance of public infrastructure.
