Membership is open to any individual, agency, or organizations supporting our mission. Join today and help us build a strong statewide voice for foster, adoptive, and kinship families. Together, we can make Virginia a better place for children and youth unable to live with their birth parents.
NewFound Families recognizes that foster, adoptive and kinship families have unique needs, but share in our common goal to better serve the children of Virginia. Our families step forward to offer a stable, safe, and nurturing home to children, when birth families face challenges in parenting or circumstances become overwhelming and parenting fails.
Through their love, effort and commitment, foster, adoptive and kinship families share this common task, taking on the responsibility of raising children they did not bring into this world, but filling in the care giving gap for children in need. We offer help to families in accomplishing this task by sharing information and the resources you need to meet the special needs of your children and helping our families to impact Virginia policy and regulation to improve outcomes for our children in care.
