Citizenship
Chesterfield County welcomes those from other countries who decide to make this their new home. The county’s multicultural liaison assists and educates the county’s growing diverse population, as well as English-speaking residents who may need assistance with obtaining county services, programs, activities and benefits.

Community Cleanup Events
More than 950 volunteers showed up to help clean up James River and its shorelines during the annual James River Regional Cleanup for the 18th year. The cleanup is a tremendous regional effort in which volunteers remove hundreds of bags of trash and recyclable materials from the James and its tributaries.

Youth Awards Program

We are happy to share a variety of virtual recreation programs that you can enjoy on your own. These programs represent the depth of recreation services offered by the Parks and Recreation Department: sports, games, art, music, crafts, history, nature, parks exploration, therapeutic recreation, outdoor adventure, fitness, and more.
