Dual Treatment Track
The Dual Treatment Track (DTT) is a court-ordered, pre-trial, jail diversion program, for dually diagnosed incarcerated offenders in Chesterfield County and the City of Colonial Heights. This program is a partnership between Chesterfield Community Corrections and Chesterfield Mental Health Support Services.

- Who is eligible for services at the Dual Treatment Track (DTT)?

Individuals who are incarcerated, of pre-trial status, with a major mental illness and substance abuse disorder are eligible. Participants must have verifiable housing and transportation.
- What charges/convictions make an individual ineligible?

Individuals are excluded based on a prior record of pending charges of the following:
- Arson
- Felony Distribution or Manufacturing
- Felony Sex Offenses
- Violence (as Defined by 17.1-805 and 19.2-297.1 of the Criminal Code of Virginia)
- What is the duration of services offered to clients at the Dual Treatment Track (DTT)?

services are self-paced. Core curriculum takes a minimum of nine months to complete.
- What services are provided at the Dual Treatment Track (DTT)?

Services include:
- Frequent Drug Testing
- Individual/Family Counseling
- Intensive Supervision
- Mental Health Focused Groups
- Moral Reconation Therapy
- Outpatient Substance Abuse Therapy
- Psychiatric Services
Participants are required to attend the following:
- Day Groups on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
- Frequent Drug Testing
- Psychiatric Appointments at Chesterfield Mental Health Support Services
- How can an individual be evaluated for Dual Treatment Track (DTT)?

Referrals can be made through the court, attorney, family members, or self-referrals. Ten business days are required to complete an evaluation.
