Our purpose is to provide a safe, secure and supportive environment for court-involved youth with the goal of promoting individual growth through education and empowerment.
Beginning March 2, 2022, the Chesterfield Juvenile Detention Home will resume in-person, socially-distanced visitation for parents and legal guardians of residents. Visitation for pre-d residents will be held Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and visitation for residents in treatment programs (Post-D and CPP) will be held Sundays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. No-contact visitation is still available and scheduling can be done by calling 804-748-1460.
Attorneys and professional visitors who cannot communicate with their client via telephone can contact Assistant Director Willie May at 804-706-2753 to discuss what accommodations may be made.
