Youth Awards Program

The Chesterfield County Department of Youth Planning and Development is seeking youth and adult nominations for the 2018 Outstanding Youth Awards.

  • All nominees must be Chesterfield county residents
  • Youth nominees must be 12-18 years old, and must have demonstrated
    • Courage
    • Compassion
    • Leadership, or
    • Community or school service.
  • Adults must be 18 or older and must have contributed positively to youth development in the county through their
    • Fortitude
    • Service, or
    • Mentorship.

Nominations must be submitted online no later than Friday, February 23 at 5 p.m.

Note: Individuals who do not have Internet access are encouraged to use the free Internet services available at their local public library.

Nominees and winners will be recognized at the 35th Annual Outstanding Youth Awards Ceremony on Wednesday April 18, at 7 p.m. at the Career and Technical Center @ Hull. The event is sponsored by the Youth Services Citizen Board and the Midlothian -Chesterfield Kiwanis Club.
