Step into history, enjoy nature's tranquility
Eppington
Named after the Eppes family, major landowners in the area as early as
the mid-1600s. Francis Eppes VI built the plantation and Thomas Jefferson,
his brother-in-law, was a frequent visitor. Jeffersons daughters
stayed at the plantation while he was in France. (Preservation is being
planned by the Eppington Foundation Board.)
