Youth Services Citizens Board Recruiting Youths and Adults

Chesterfield County, VA — The Chesterfield County Citizen Information and Resources Department is seeking youths and adults to fill vacancies on the Youth Services Citizen Board. The purpose of the Youth Services Citizen Board is to advise the Board of Supervisors regarding issues relating to youth and to provide opportunities for community input on youth issues in Chesterfield County. The board is composed of a junior and senior from each high school, and an adult representative from each magisterial district. Youth board members serve for a one-year term and adult board members serve for a three-year term. Board members attend monthly meetings and help plan programs throughout the year. 

 

The following youth positions are available:

  • Carver Academy, rising junior and rising senior
  • Clover Hill High School, rising junior
  • Cosby High School, rising junior and rising senior
  • James River High School, rising junior
  • L.C. Bird High School, rising junior and rising senior
  • Manchester High School, rising junior and rising senior
  • Matoaca High School, rising junior
  • Meadowbrook High School, rising junior and rising senior
  • Midlothian High School, rising junior and rising senior (filled)
  • Monacan High School, rising junior
  • Thomas Dale High School, rising junior and rising senior

Adult positions are available in the Clover Hill and Midlothian districts.
