Police Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police have arrested a man in relation to the robbery of the Virginia Credit Union at 13025 Jefferson Davis Highway on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017. No one was injured during the incident.

       Police said the man approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. Though no weapon was displayed during the incident, the suspect claimed he had a gun. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running in the direction of John Tyler Community College. 

       On Nov. 30, 2017, police obtained warrants for Brian C. Williams Jr., 21, for robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in relation to the incident. On Wednesday, Jan. 10, Williams, of the 2700 block of Martingale Road, was located in Henrico with help from the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force. He was arrested without incident and is being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
