McPeters Named Chief Deputy Treasurer

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Treasurer Carey Adams has named Timothy M. McPeters as Chief Deputy Treasurer.  McPeters brings over 28 years of public and private sector experience to the office, including over 18 years in the county’s Commissioner of the Revenue Office and seven years with Coca-Cola.

As Chief Deputy Treasurer, McPeters will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the office, including customer service, automated systems and billing.

“I am excited to add a person of Tim’s caliber to our talented, experienced team,” said Treasurer Adams.  “His extensive customer service, managerial and process improvement experience will be critical in our efforts to further enhance the quality service we provide to our customers.”   

The Chesterfield County Treasurer’s Office is responsible for the billing and collection of current and delinquent personal property, real estate and other local taxes. Additionally, the Treasurer also serves as the chief investment officer and banker for the county. Its mission is to ensure fiscal integrity and provide world-class customer service through excellence in treasury management.
