Driving Directions

  • Choose your lane before entering the roundabout.
    • Upon approach, slow down; look for street and direction signs.
     
  • Yield to ALL traffic in roundabout.
    • Upon approach, yield the right-of-way to pedestrians, bicyclists and any vehicles already in the roundabout. When the path is clear, you may enter.
     
  • Don’t change lanes in roundabout.
    • While inside the roundabout, stay in your lane until existing. Use your turn signal to alert other drivers of your intent.
     
  • Drive defensively.
    • Check for vehicles that may continue through the roundabout in the lane next to or behind you; check mirrors and blind spots for vehicles that may be next to or behind you.
