Chesterfield County Police Department

Chesterfield County Police is seeking information on the following Crimes

MURDER

The Chesterfield County Police is seeking information on two murders that occurred at Cloverleaf Mall on November 8, 1996. Chesterfield Police responded to Cloverleaf Mall, located at 7201 Midlothian Turnpike (RT. 60), at 5:15 a.m. to investigate a missing persons complaint. Once the police arrived, entry was made into the "All For One" store. Two women were found dead inside the store's office. The investigation has revealed that the victims suffered from stab wounds. Consolidated Stores Corporation, the parent company of the "All For One" stores, and the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors each are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime, for a total of a$20,000 reward.

MISSING PERSONS

The Chesterfield County Police is seeking information on the disappearance of Linda Evans Lunsford. Linda Evans Lunsford was reported missing to Amelia County authorities on December 26, 1996. Lunsford was last seen in the area of Village Marketplace on Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield County that same day. Miss Lunsford is described as a white female, 38 years of age, 5'1", 110 pounds, with light brown to blond hair. Lunsford's automobile, a burgundy Nissan Sentra, was found at the Village Marketplace shopping center. She is an employee of Wal-Mart on Midlothian Turnpike. A $5,000 reward has been offered for the information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons criminally responsible for her disappearance.

ROBBERY

The Chesterfield County Police is seeking information on a robbery that occurred on October 22, 1996 at 11:20 am, at the Nations bank located at 2601 Buford Road. The suspect approached the teller, gave her a note, and stated he had a weapon. The suspect fled the bank on foot towards Forest Hill Avenue. The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, 5'8", 150 pounds, short "clean cut" hair, clean shaven, wearing a white T-Shirt with a logo on the pocket (the pocket was torn), and blue jeans. A possible suspect vehicle is a red Nissan 2 door with extensive front end damage (headlights were intact)

SHOOTING INCIDENT

The Chesterfield County Police is seeking information on a shooting incident that occurred on November 28, 1996 at 12:01 PM at 3486 Meadowdale Blvd. When Police arrived at the shooting incident they found three males had been shot and were transported to M.C.V hospital. None of injuries appeared to be life threatening and robbery appears to be the apparent motive. A suspect vehicle was seen leaving the area. The vehicle is described as a white 4 door Nissan or Honda type with tinted glass on the rear window. Two suspects are described as black males in their late 20's to early 30's.
