Emergency Communications Center
The Chesterfield County Emergency Communications Center is the public
safety answering point for Chesterfield County. We are an integral link
in the public safety chain for Emergency
Medical Services (EMS), Fire, Police, Animal
Control and Sheriff departments.
Equipped with the latest technologies in Computer Aided Dispatching,
enhanced 9-1-1 telephone systems and 800 MHz digital regional radio systems,
information is documented, relayed, and verbalized to emergency personnel
within seconds. Our staff is made up of well-trained career professionals.

Provide quality access for reporting emergencies and non-emergencies by answering telephone calls in a timely manner.
- Respond consistently and provide a timely entry and dispatch of calls for service for the County’s Police and Fire/EMS departments within response-time standards.
