Fire Video GeneralLocated in Central Virginia, Chesterfield County consists of 446 square miles of suburban, urban and rural areas. Our organization is a combination career/volunteer system consisting of 485 career and approximately 471 active volunteer personnel operating out of 22 fire rescue stations, and 4 rescue squads operating out of 9 rescue stations. We opened Station #21-Harrowgate in February 2015 to better serve our growing community. Our men and women provide first class customer service to a population of more than 328,000 citizens. Last fiscal year, we responded to 38,184 calls: 1,513 fire incidents, 29,122 emergency medical services responses, and 7,549 public service calls.
