WATERLINE AS SHOWN IS NOT ACCESSIBLE IN THE EVENT OF A
BREAK. ADDITIONALLY, BOTH THE WATER AND SEWER WILL NEED T
BE IN AN EASEMENT SINCE THIS SECTION OF ROAD WILL NOT
IMMEDIATELY BE ACCEPTED INTO THE PUBLIC SYSTEM.
8. ON SHEET C4.0, SHOW THE EXTENT OF WETLAND CROSSING IN
THE PROFILE AND SHOW A CLAY DAM PER DETAIL SEW-9 ON BOTH
SIDES OF THE SEWER CROSSING. THIS DETAIL SHOULD BE

10. BASED ON EXAMINATION OF THE PLANS, IT APPEARS THAT MH
24 COULD BE INSTALLED A FEW FEET SHALLOWER THUS INCREASING
THE SLOPE ON HALLOWELL RIDGE AND DECREASING THE DEPTH OF
THE SEWER. PLEASE EVALUATE HOW THIS IMPACTS THE SEWER
DESIGNED IN PHASE 1 AND PHASE 2. IT WOULD BE DESIRABLE TO
AVOID UNNECESSARILY DEEP SEWER IN THOSE PHASES FOR LONG
TERM OPERATIONS AND SHALLOWER SEWER WILL REDUCE
CONSTRUCTION COST.
11. THE MANHOLE TOP SHOWN FOR MH E5 DOES NOT AGREE WITH
THE TOP SHOWN ON THE APPROVED PHASE 1 PLANS. PLEASE CHECK
THE GRADING TO ENSURE THAT THE PROPER ELEVATIONS ARE BEING

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY. ADDITIONALLY, NEW STATE
STORMWATER REGULATIONS ALSO BECAME EFFECTIVE ON
JULY 1, 2014. LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITIES THAT
OBTAINED A VSMP PERMIT PRIOR TO JULY 1, 2014 MAY
USE THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT CRITERIA SPECIFIED
IN PART II C (9VAC25-870-93 ET SEQ) FOR TWO PERMIT
CYCLES. PROJECTS GRANDFATHERED UNDER THE PROVISIONS
OF 9VAC25-870-48 MAY FOLLOW THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED
UNDER PART IIC FOR ONE PERMIT CYCLE. ALL OTHER NEW
DEVELOPMENT WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
PART IIB (9VAC25-870-62 TO 9VAC25-870-92).
03. IT IS ACCEPTABLE BUT NOT ADVISABLE TO SHOW
HYDROLOGICAL AND HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS ON THE

C. ADDITIONAL, NON-REQUIRED STREETLIGHTS, BEYOND ANY
SPECIFICALLY REQUIRED IN PARAGRAPH A. ABOVE, SHALL BE
COST ESTIMATED, FUNDED, AND OPERATED AT THE DEVELOPER'
EXPENSE. NON-REQUIRED LIGHTING SHALL BE STRICTLY
LIMITED TO INTERNAL INTERSECTIONS WHERE ROADS ARE
IDENTIFIED AS INTENDED TO BE ACCEPTED INTO AND
MAINTAINED THROUGH THE STATE SECONDARY ROAD SYSTEM.
SUCH NON-REQUIRED INSTALLATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

D. PAYMENT OF THE OPERATIONAL OFFSET FEE, AS DESCRIBED
