DETERMINATION MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE WATER QUALITY

22. CHANGE THE ANNUAL RAINFALL ON THE SITE DATA TAB OF THE
VRRM SPREADSHEET TO 43 INCHES.
23. THE VRRM SPREADSHEET INDICATES 0.96 ACRES OF
FOREST/OPEN SPACE IS PRESENT ON-SITE. THE GRADING
WITHIN THE TREE-SAVE AREAS CAN ONLY BE CLAIMED AS
FOREST/OPEN SPACE IF THOSE AREAS WILL BE REPLANTED AND
ALLOWED TO NATURALLY REDEVELOP VEGETATION. SIGNAGE
MUST BE PROVIDED TO INDICATE THAT THOSE AREAS ARE TO
REMAIN IN A NATURAL STATE AND WILL NOT BE MOWED MORE
THAN 4 TIMES PER YEAR. LANDSCAPED AREAS MUST BE
CONSIDERED AS MANAGED TURF.
24. THE "DRAINAGE AREA A" TAB OF THE VRRM SPREADSHEET
INDICATES THAT THE DRY SWALE REMOVAL/RUNOFF REDUCTION
IS BEING USED FOR THE PROPOSED STORMTECH FACILITY.
PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION FROM DEQU WHICH APPROVES THIS
REMOVAL RATE, AS STORMTECH IS CURRENTLY NOT ON THE
DEQ'S PROPRIETARY BMP CLEARINGHOUSE LIST.
25. STORMWATER QUALITY COMPLIANCE MUST ACCOUNT FOR THE
ADDITIONAL IMPERVIOUS ASSOCIATED WITH THE TURN LANE
ADDITIONS ON BELMONT ROAD AND COGBILL ROAD.
26. THE STORMTECH ROUTING CALCULATIONS SHOW THAT IT IS
HANDLING 2.61 ACRES OF RUNOFF, WHILE THE PLANS
SHOW THAT 2.44 ACRES IS BEING CONVEYED TO THE SYSTEM.
27. THE ROUTING SHOULD USE A DRAINAGE AREA OF 0.24 ACRES
FOR THE POST-DEVELOPMENT (DIRECT DISCHARGE)
CALCULATION.
28. CORRECT THE STORMWATER OUTFALL TABLE ON THE COVER SHEE
AS NECESSARY.
29. SEVERAL SOIL BORINGS MUST BE MADE WITHIN THE LIMITS OF
THE INFILTRATION SYSTEM TO A DEPTH OF AT LEAST FIVE
FEET BELOW THE BOTTOM. A PERCOLATION TEST MUST BE
PERFORMED TO DETERMINE IF THE INFILTRATION RATE OF THI
SOIL IS ACCEPTABLE. (CL-CBPA 40)
30. THE SWM/BMP FACILITY MUST BE OBSERVED BY A PROFESSIONA
ENGINEER DURING CONSTRUCTION. "AS BUILT" INFORMATION
IS REQUIRED FOR FUTURE CERTIFICATION OF THE FACILITY.
CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO RELEASE OF THE
SWM/BMP PERFORMANCE BOND AND ANY CERTIFICATE OF

31. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER TO PROVIDE ONE
ADDITIONAL SET OF PLANS TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AND OBTAIN AN "APPROVED FOR
CONSTRUCTION" STAMP ON TWO ADDITIONAL SETS FOR THE
OWNER TO KEEP ON-SITE.
32. ALL ONSITE DRAINAGE EASEMENTS INCLUDING STORMWATER /
BMP DRAINAGE EASEMENTS MUST BE RECORDED PRIOR TO
ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT FOR THIS PROJECT.
33. THE POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING INSPECTOR PRIOR TO ISSUANCE

34. THE BMP MUST BE CERTIFIED PRIOR TO RELEASE OF THE BMP
PERFORMANCE BOND.
35. PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF A LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT, A COPY
OF THE AUTOCAD FILE MUST BE SUBMITTED TO CAROLE
CLIBORNE OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING. THE AUTOCAD
FILE MUST BE SAVED AS A .DWG OR .DXF IN AUTOCAD VERSIO
2009 OR EARLIER AND REFERENCED DIRECTLY TO THE VIRGINI

DATUM. THE AUTOCAD FILE MAY BE SUBMITTED ON A CD, DVD
OR VIA EMAIL AND MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED WITH THE SITE
PLAN NAME, SITE PLAN NUMBER, ENGINEERING FIRM AND CAD
FILE PREPARER'S NAME AND PHONE NUMBER. THE FILE MUST
CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING, EACH CLEARLY LABELED IN SEPARAT
LAYERS:
A. PROPOSED BUILDING FOOTPRINT;
B. PARKING LOTS AND DRIVEWAYS;
C. ROADS;
D. SIDEWALKS;
E. ALL JURISDICTIONAL WETLAND AREAS AND/OR WATERS OF THE
U.S./STATE; AND
F. FLOODPLAINS.
THE FILE MUST BE APPROVED BY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT.
36. A LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT
AND SUBSTANTIAL OR FULL SITE PLAN APPROVAL IS REQUIRED
PRIOR TO ITS ISSUANCE. A LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT IS
