6. CLEARLY SHOW ALL EXISTING VALVES, FITTINGS, ETC.

PROJECT NUMBER (WTH-38CD). ALSO LABEL THE EXISTING SEWER
IN BEETLE COURT WITH ITS COUNTY PROJECT NUMBER (S73-9D).
7. THE EXISTING WATERLINE IN BEETLE COURT IS TO BE
ABANDONED INCLUDING THE EXISTING TEE IN BELRUN ROAD BY
DIGGING IT UP AND REMOVING IT FROM THE SITE. IN ADDITION
PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING NOTE, CONSPICUOUSLY DISPLAYED ON THE
SHEET DEPICTING THE LIMITS OF WATERLINE TO BE ABANDONED.
ABANDONMENT OF THE EXISTING WATERLINE IS TO OCCUR IN
STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT COUNTY SPECIFICATIONS, PART
IV, SECTION 3, ITEM 3.07, ABANDONMENT OF WATER MAINS.
8. THIS OFFICE RECOMMENDS THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW 8"
WATERLINE FROM BELRUN ROAD EXTENDING DOWN THE MIDDLE OF
BEETLE COURT WITH ALL APPLICABLE FITTINGS. PROVIDE
PERMANENT WATERLINE EASEMENTS AS NECESSARY TO FULLY
ENCUMBER THIS LINE AND ALL SERVICES.
9. THE RECORDED LOT NUMBERS AND BLOCK DESIGNATIONS NEED
TO BE SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
10. THE AS-BUILT DATA PER EACH SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION
NEEDS TO BE SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
11. LABEL ALL EXISTING MANHOLES IN A CONSISTENT FASHION.
12. DUE TO THE UNUSUAL NATURE OF THIS PROJECT, THIS
OFFICE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS, NOT

THAT PARALLELS THE PROPOSED WATERLINE, INCLUDING THE

DISTANCE NOTED.
8. NOTE, IN THE PROFILE VIEW, THAT 3.5 VF OF COVER IS
REQUIRED AT ALL LOCATIONS FOR THE WATERLINE.
9. PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL NOTE UNDER THE "STANDARD
WATER AND SEWER NOTES" STATING THAT ALL WATER SERVICE
CONNECTIONS BELOW THE 173' CONTOUR, OR WHERE THE
PRESSURE IS GREATER THAN 80 PSI, WILL REQUIRE AN
INDIVIDUAL PRESSURE REGULATOR VALVE TO BE INSTALLED ON
THE CUSTOMER'S SIDE OF THE WATER METER AS REQUIRED BY
BOCA CODE.

1. AS A PREREQUISITE TO THE ISSUANCE OF A LAND
DISTURBANCE PERMIT:
A) A COPY OF THE AUTOCAD FILE MUST BE SUBMITTED TO
CAROLE CLIBORNE OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING. THE
AUTOCAD FILE MUST BE SAVED AS A .DWG OR .DXF IN AUTOCAD
VERSION 2009 OR EARLIER AND REFERENCED DIRECTLY TO THE
VIRGINIA STATE PLANE COORDINATE SYSTEM, SOUTH ZONE IN
THE NAD83 DATUM. THE AUTOCAD FILE MAY BE SUBMITTED ON A
CD, DVD, OR VIA EMAIL AND MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED WITH
THE SUBDIVISION NAME AND SECTION, SUBDIVISION PLAN
NUMBER, ENGINEERING FIRM AND CAD FILE PREPARER'S NAME
AND PHONE NUMBER. THE FILE MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING,
EACH CLEARLY LABELED IN SEPARATE LAYERS:
I.EDGES OF ROADS TO INCLUDE CURB AND GUTTER; AND
II. EDGES OF SIDEWALKS;
THE FILE MUST BE APPROVED BY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT.
B) FLAGGING AROUND USACOE JURISDICTIONAL WETLANDS,
BUFFERS, AND SENSITIVE AREAS MUST BE VISIBLE.
C) A PROCESSED VSMP REGISTRATION AND FEE FORM MUST BE
RECEIVED.
D) A COPY OF VDOT LAND USE PERMIT MUST BE RECEIVED.
E) AN EROSION CONTROL BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,915.00
MUST BE POSTED.
F) TWO ADDITIONAL SETS OF CONSTRUCTION PLANS TO BE
STAMPED "APPROVED FOR CONSTRUCTION" MUST BE RECEIVED.
G) AS APPLICABLE, A SWPPP BOOKLET (3 RING BINDER) MUST
BE PROVIDED.
H) THE ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT MUST HAVE
RECEIVED SIGNED, WRITTEN NOTIFICATIONS FROM THE
ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS, N/F REYES-VILLATORO, J. AT
4014 LAURELWOOD RD., N/F DODSON, C. AT 4020 LAURELWOOD
RD., N/F SPOON, A. AT 4026 LAURELWOOD RD., N/F
CHARLESTON T TRUSTEE ET ALS AT 4032 LAURELWOOD RD., N/F

4007/4009/4011/4013/4015/4017/4019 BARNACLE COURT) AND
THEY SHOULD BE NOTIFIED OF THE IMPEDING OF CONSTRUCTION
PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT.
2. THESE ARE IN REGARDS TO THE MS-19:
A) IT APPEARS THE DESCRIPTION OF ADEQUACY SITUATIONS A
THRU H WERE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE MS-19 TABLE. A COPY OF
THE DESCRIPTION OF ADEQUACY SITUATIONS CAN BE STAPLED BY
THIS OFFICE TO THE SETS OF CONSTRUCTION PLANS DATED
6/10/16. BE SURE THAT FUTURE PLANS SUBMITTAL THE
DESCRIPTION OF ADEQUACY SITUATIONS A - H ARE INCLUDED
WITH THE MS-19 TABLE ON SHEET 14.
3. ANY TIMBERING THAT IS TO OCCUR AS THE FIRST PHASE OF
INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE
PROJECT'S EROSION-AND-SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN NARRATIVE AND
WILL NOT COMMENCE UNTIL THE ISSUANCE OF A LAND DISTURBANCE
PERMIT FOR SUBDIVISION CONSTRUCTION AND PROPER INSTALLATION
OF EROSION CONTROL MEASURES.

1. CBPA COMPLIANCE MUST BE ACHIEVED BY PURCHASE OFFSITE
POLLUTANT CREDITS FROM STATE APPROVED NUTRIENT BANK.
EVIDENCE OF THE PURCHASE MUST BE PROVIDED TO EE PRIOR TO
PLAN APPROVAL.
=================== ROAD AND DRAINAGE ======================
1. THESE ARE IN REGARDS TO THE 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN:
A) PLEASE SHOW/LABEL THE 21' DIMENSION FROM THE CORNER
OF THE PROPOSED BUILDING ON LOT 9 OF BLOCK I - SECTION 4
TO THE 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN LIMITS.
IN ADDITION, REVISE THE LIMITS PERTINENT TO BUILDING
SETBACK TO BE DELINEATED 25' OFF THE 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN
LIMITS AS OPPOSED TO 20'. HOWEVER, THE BUILDING SETBACK
SHOULD BE LESS THAN 25' TO INCLUDE THE BUILDING ON LOT
#9. SEE THE ENCLOSED SKETCH. A SHEET INSERTION OF SHEET
8 TO THE SETS OF CONSTRUCTION PLANS DATED 06/10/16 IS
ACCEPTABLE TO EE AND THE REMAINING SHEETS WOULD BE
RED MARKED WITH A NOTE WITH YOUR CONSENT. PLEASE CONSULT
WITH PLANNING IF A TABLE REVIEW WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE TO
THEM WITH SLIP SHEET INSERTION.
PLEASE BE SURE THAT THESE CHANGES ARE REFLECTED ON ALL
APPLICABLE SHEETS (I.E. SHEETS 8, 10, 11, 13, ETC.) IN
FUTURE PLANS SUBMITTALS.
2. AS A REMINDER, THIS OFFICE MUST RECEIVE A FORMAL
VARIANCE APPROVAL LETTER FOR THE REDUCTION OF THE 25'
SETBACK OFF THE 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN LIMITS PRIOR TO PLAN
APPROVAL.
3. AS A PREREQUISITE TO THE RELEASE OF ANY BUILDING PERMIT:
A) THE PROPOSED ONSITE 10' DRAINAGE EASEMENT (PRIVATE)
MUST BE RECORDED BY SEPARATE INSTRUMENT. PLEASE CONTACT
KIM PULLEY AT THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OFFICE UTILITIES
DEPARTMENT TO ACQUIRE THE DRAINAGE EASEMENT (PRIVATE)
AGREEMENT.
B) THE EXISTING RECORDED PLAT NEEDS TO BE AMENDED
THROUGH SUBDIVISION PLAT PROCESS TO RECORD THE 100-YEAR
FLOODPLAIN LIMITS AND VACATE THE EXISTING 20' DRAINAGE &
UTILITY EASEMENT (PUBLIC) P.B. 20/P.G. 1-8.
C) ALL IMPROVEMENTS MUST BE BONDED IN A FORM APPROVED BY
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING.
