About Drug Courts

Drug Court is a treatment alternative to incarceration for juvenile and adult offenders arrested in Chesterfield County or the City of Colonial Heights before proceeding to court with significant substance abuse issues/addiction. 

  • Circuit Court (Adult Drug Court)
  • Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court (Juvenile Drug Court)

Participants are required to complete an intensive treatment program under the direction of a team of professionals from

  • court
  • treatment
  • police department
  • local probation
  • Public school system

At completion of the Drug Court Program, the charge(s) that brought you into the program will be dismissed.
