Community Services Board FY2015 and FY2016 Community Performance Contract
As required by section 37.2-508 of the Virginia State Code, a performance contract must be established between local community services boards (CSBs) and the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services on a biennial basis. This contract delineates the responsibilities of the state, responsibilities of the local CSB, and the conditions that must be met for the receipt of state-controlled funds.
Beginning July 23, 2014 the proposed biennial FY2015 and FY 2016 Performance Contract for the Chesterfield County Communication Services Board will be available for public review for 30 days on the internet or at the offices of Chesterfield Community Services Board at 6801 Lucy Corr Boulevard, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832.
Public comments on the proposed contract will be received through August 23, 2014, and may be submitted in writing to:

Chesterfield Community Services Board (CSB) is one of forty Boards in Virginia that offer a comprehensive array of services in mental health, intellectual disabilities, substance abuse, prevention, and early intervention. The Chesterfield CSB serves as an Administrative-Policy Board for the Chesterfield Department of Mental Health Support Services. Members are appointed by the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors with statutory fiduciary and management authority and responsibilities. (Code of Virginia §37.2-100)
The Chesterfield CSB Board has 15 members who are appointed for a three-year term and can serve up to three consecutive terms. The Board has a representative from each of the five magisterial districts and ten members-at-large. Members come from all walks of life and have diverse experiences and expertise.
