Management Services
Management Services Division

Scott W. Zaremba, Deputy County Administrator for Management Services oversees the operations of the following departments and serves as liaison to the Commonwealth’s Attorney, Circuit Court Clerk, and the Sheriff.

Airport
Whether you are a corporate pilot, fly your own plane or a businessperson looking for convenient access, Chesterfield County Airport (FCI) is the executive gateway into or out of the Greater Richmond Virginia area. Business and personal fliers have long preferred FCI for its convenience and comprehensive personal attention - real advantages worth considering when selecting a destination airport.

Cooperative Extension
Cooperative Extension is a joint program of Virginia Tech, Virginia State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Environmental Division
The Environmental Division is one of seven divisions within the Department of General Services. The division directs and implements the countywide environmental management system (EMS), provides citizens with waste disposal and recycling options at two convenience centers, manages the county's three closed landfills, and coordinates a robust anti-litter program.

General Services
We exist to serve the citizens of Chesterfield County and to support other county departments so they can serve their customers as well.

Information Systems Technology
The Information Systems Technology Department provides information technology services and support and Geographic Information Services (GIS) to county departments, constitutional offices and public school departments.

Libraries
The Chesterfield County Public Library (CCPL) continues to meet the needs of residents. Some of the recent highlighted services include early literacy/learning programs, small business resource centers and makerspaces.

Parks and Recreation
Chesterfield County offers a host of recreational and leisure activities, and programs for residents.

Risk Management
The department of Risk Management serves both the Chesterfield County government and public schools. Its mission is to develop and manage a risk profile that best suits Chesterfield County's Vision and Mission. We ascertain the county government's attitude toward risk and reduce the long-run cost of risk while maximizing the probability of long-run benefits. Government's exposure to loss or gain ("RISK") is politically, legally, and socially unique.
