4H Clover4-H 2018 Program Calendar

Chesterfield County 4-H Junior Summer Camp June 18-22 2018

Registration will be held online March 14, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.

Age requirements

  • Camper must turn age 9 between Oct 1, 2017-Sept 30, 2018. 
  • Counselors in Training (CIT) MUST turn 13 as of 01/01/2018 (use link that has boy/girl CIT to register). 
  • Counselors have already been selected, must be 14 as of 01/01/2017, apply in fall when school starts up.

Camp Fee

The Camp Fee of $320 includes

  • meals
  • lodging
  • insurance
  • transportation
  • supplies
  • camp t-shirt

Payments

  • Full Payment is due by March 28, 2018.
  • Check or money order made out to “Treasurer of Virginia Tech”.
  • NO cash payments.
  • There will be a $50.00 return check fee, payable in check/money order/cashier’s check.

Cancellation/Refunds

To receive a full refund (less $50 processing fee) you must cancel in writing by May 8, 2018. Allow 8 weeks to process refund.  

Please Note: NO refunds after May 8! and NO multi or sibling discounts. 

SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Limited financial assistance is available upon request. 
  • Must meet certain guidelines for eligibility. 
  • Deadline to apply for assistance February 26, 2018.

Warm Season Lawns

Warm-season grasses, such as Zoysia, grow best during the warm months when temperatures reach 80 - 95 °F. They typically require 30% less water and have much lower pest pressures than the cool season turfgrasses.
