Demographic Information

The population of Chesterfield County was estimated to be 323,000 as of January 1, 2013. The Planning Department projects the county's population to grow to 370,000 by 2020.

• 2012 Demographic & Economic Profile:  This report, published annually, is the latest in a series that outlines recent Chesterfield County demographic and general economic trends.
• Chesterfield County American Community Survey Data:  Each year the U.S. Census Bureau surveys a small sample of households in Chesterfield to produce estimates of age, race, education, income, poverty and other important demographic and social characteristics.
