Are you interested in making a difference in your community?  

The Youth Services Citizen Board advises the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors on youth-related issues and concerns.

What We Do

  • Special Initiatives and Events
  • Community Service Projects
  • Provides a forum for youth related issues
  • Engages youth around the county to participate in local government

Meet the Board

Members are made up of

  • 2 adults from each magisterial district
  • 2 students from each county high school
  • 8 (up to) at large youths representing students not enrolled in Chesterfield County Public Schools
    • Such as those attending home, private, or governor’s schools.

When We Meet

First Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. from September through June.

  • Adults serve 3-year terms and may be reappointed for a second 3 year term.
