Facility Reservations

Picnic Shelters 

Picnic shelters are available in these parks: Ettrick, Goyne, Harrowgate, Huguenot, Daniel Park at Iron Bridge, R. Garland Dodd Park at Point of Rocks, Rockwood, Robious Landing. Reservation fees are based on the length of time reserved and range from $50 - $100. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. Call (804)751-4696 for information. Some shelters have electrical outlets. Parks and Recreation does not guarantee electricity.

Exhibition Hall

Chesterfield County Fairgrounds
10300 Courthouse Road. (Courthouse and Krause roads)

Maximum capacity of 400 people

150 x 80 feet (12,000 sq. feet)

Concrete floor, heat but no air conditioning, water fountain, restrooms, a kitchen with refrigerator, numerous electrical outlets and various sized tables and chairs.

220 unmarked, paved parking spaces and other non-paved areas available at the Fairgrounds; additional parking available at L.C. Bird High School by special permit only

Non-Profit Rate

Full Day - $300
Half Day - $150 (5 hours or less)

Commercial Rate

Full Day - $500
Half Day - $250 (5 hours or less)

Horseback Riding Rings

Chesterfield County Fairgrounds
10300 Courthouse Road (Courthouse and Krause roads)

Ring 1 - 120 ft. x 240 ft.
Ring 2 - 125 ft x 225 ft.

Mounting stand, announcer's stand, concession stand building, lights and water, portable restrooms

Handicapped parking and nearby parking.

Parks Division of the Parks & Recreation Department will drag the ring prior to each rental and will leave a drag for renter's use.

$125 per day; $15 extra for lights

Chesterfield Fairgrounds

220 asphalt parking spaces (not marked) and additional parking areas at the Fairgrounds; additional parking available at L.C. Bird High School if arrangements are made in advance.
