In order to be eligible to participate in the evening reporting portion (2-8 p.m.), a youth must:

  • be on probation or parole and living within the geographic area covered by the 12th District Court Service Unit.
  • be 14 to 17 years old.
  • be facing court action for violation of probation/parole or new criminal offenses in lieu of a detention order being issued.
  • agree to participate in lieu of a probation violation being filed.
  • be of moderate to high risk to reoffend, based on the Department of Juvenile Justice Risk Assessment.
  • have parental support for daily transportation.
  • have parent agreement to attend weekly support group.
