Accounting and Purchasing - 804-748-1263
This is an area responsible for ensuring that budgeted funds are properly accounted for and that the Sheriff's Office is in compliance with all purchasing guidelines. Revenue collection, preventative maintenance contracts and blanket purchase orders are monitored here. This section also ensures a strong relationship with the Sheriff's Office vendors by promptly processing the thousands of invoices submitted each year.

Administrative Staff - 804-748-1261
The administrative staff consists of personnel who assist the Sheriff in day-to-day operations such as payroll, employee benefits, ordering supplies, accounts payable and administering the budget. 

Budget - 804-717-6511
This section is responsible for the creation, implementation and monitoring of the Sheriff's Office budget and financial plan. Approximately 50% of the Sheriff's budget is funded through fees for services and revenues from the Commonwealth of Virginia, with Chesterfield County contributing the remaining 50%. This area provides objective, analytical review of special departmental projects and oversees the Administrative Services Division.

Human Resources -804-768-7377
This unit is responsible for recruiting/processing applicants and hiring sworn and non-sworn personnel in various positions throughout the Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office Human Resource Department also works in conjunction with the Chesterfield County Human Resources Department in coordinating and administering the promotional process.

Information Technology - 804-748-1261
Information Technology is responsible for ensuring that the Sheriff's Office maintains a reliable computer network. They also serve as a primary troubleshooting contact for computer users in the Sheriff's Office. The most important responsibility of this section is to encourage the creation, development and use of innovative technology as a tool for employees.

This section is responsible for measuring, ordering and distributing uniforms and equipment for the Sheriff's Office and its personnel. Logistics also maintains the vehicle fleet for the Sheriff's Office.
