Community Safety Page Site Help

The Community Safety page is a summary of different information from all the departments in the county that work together to provide critical and up to date safety information to the community.  The Community Safety page includes a menu to the left that with links to the main pages for many of the different organizations in the county responsible for safety and safety related information such as the Be Prepared Emergency Management page that provides information about  the steps you need to take to protect your family during an emergency including what to put in an emergency kit and how to stay informed in the event of a disaster.   Each of the county’s public safety departments can be reached from this menu as well as local and federal emergency planning agencies.  
The middle section of the Community Safety page includes Traffic information and events happening in and around Chesterfield County.  The “map it” buttons beside each of the traffic listings allows you to view a map of the location of a traffic hazard.  Both the Traffic section and the Things to Know section of this page allow you to subscribe to RSS feeds. 
The links to the far right of the Community Safety page provide links to other pages having safety related pages.
