Important Information about Your Water/Wastewater Account 

• Phone Account Access: Customers may access their water/wastewater account information with their touch-tone phones by dialing 804-748-1291. An automated phone system provides customers access to their accounts' balance information and recent payment history, and enables customers to make payments with credit cards, without service fees, access a list of frequently asked questions, update phone numbers on accounts and access account information in Spanish. Customers also may opt out of the automated phone system to speak with a customer-service representative. 

• Account Numbers Have Changed/ Account Information is No Longer Available in Gateway: Bills received after May 2 will contain a new Account-Customer number. Utilities customers using online banking services should contact their banks and provide them with their new Account-Customer numbers. This number is located at the top left-hand side of the bill. Customers may continue to use the existing account number until the bill is received containing the new Account-Customer number. For more information, contact the Utilities department's billing and customer service section at 804- 748-1291, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. or email utilitybillservices@chesterfield.gov .
  
  Allow two business days for email responses. 

• Webpage Improvements A new webpage provides customers more flexibility in managing their water/wastewater accounts. Under “My Account” on the left sidebar menu of this page, customers may access the site to view their accounts, update their information, request e-bills, and make payments online — without service fees. In order to access these features, customers will need to register under "My Account" using their new Account-Customer numbers printed on bills received after May 2. If customers want to make a payment without registering, select "My Account" on the left sidebar menu of this page, then select “Online Payments” under “Online Services.” The new Account-Customer number will be required to make such payments. For more information, refer to the “Frequently Asked Questions” section or call the billing and customer service section at 804-748-1291.

• Attention Gateway Customers
  Water/wastewater account information is no longer accessible through Gateway. Please refer to the above information for instructions about accessing your account online.
