Requirements to Apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit in Chesterfield
County
Resident of Chesterfield County
Picture ID (i.e. Driver's License)
Certificate of Competency to be handed in with your application
- Hunter's Safety Course
- Firearm Safety or Training Course
- DD214 Military Discharge Paper
- Any certificate showing prior training in handgun safety and use which
the court deems adequate
Fingerprinted
Applicable Fees:
- $50 paid at the Circuit Court Clerk's Office only.
Signature and notarization on application will need to be witnessed
at the circuit court clerk's office.
May take up to 45 days to process. Permits may be are picked up in
person at the Chesterfield County Circuit Court Clerk's Office, 9500
Courthouse Road.
