The Board of Zoning Appeals of Chesterfield County, on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, beginning at 1:00 p. m., in the Public Meeting Room at the Chesterfield County Administration Building, Chesterfield, Virginia, will consider the following request: Map this (Location map in PDF format)

17AN0117*: In Bermuda Magisterial District, Jose Pietri requests a variance to use a parcel of land which fronts an unimproved but dedicated right of way for dwelling purposes and amendment of zoning district map in a Residential (R-7) District on 0.2 acre fronting the south line of Botone Avenue, 270 feet west of Jubra Drive. Density of approximately 5.0 units per acre is proposed. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for Residential (2.51 to 4.0 units/acre). Tax ID 790-677-4033. Access will be across dedicated and unimproved right of way of Botone Avenue.

17AN0128: In Clover Hill Magisterial District, Kirsten Sisco requests a special exception to permit a one (1) chair beauty shop and amendment of zoning district map in a Residential (R-9) District on 0.3 acre known as 14849 Mariners Way. Density will be controlled by zoning conditions or ordinance standards. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for Suburban Residential I use (maximum of 2.0 dwellings per acre). 17AN0130: In Matoaca Magisterial District, Christal Baugh requests a variance to use a parcel of land which has no public road frontage for dwelling purposes and amendment of zoning district map in an Agricultural (A) District on 2.0 acres lying 689 feet off the west line of Church Road, 1,915 feet north of Baugh Lane. Density of approximately 0.5 unit per acre is proposed. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for Suburban Residential II use (2.0 to 4.0 dwellings per acre). Tax ID 770-615-4979. Access will be across parts of Tax IDs 769-615-2891; 770-615-4605 and 8904; 771-615-0648 and 2508.

17AN0129: In Dale Magisterial District, Shoosmith Bros., Inc. appeals the decision of the Director of Planning that Proffered Condition 19 of Case 97SN0206 requires Article VIII approval from the Board of Supervisors for the use of the quarry for landfill purposes. The property at issue is located on 264 acres known as 11520 Iron Bridge Road. Density will be controlled by zoning conditions or ordinance standards. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for Industrial use. Tax ID 772-653-Part of 5418.
