The Board of Zoning Appeals of Chesterfield County, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, beginning at 1:00 p. m., in the Public Meeting Room at the Chesterfield County Administration Building, Chesterfield, Virginia, will consider the following request: Map this (Location map in PDF format)

18AN0114: In Midlothian Magisterial District, Austin Sheldon requests a 2 foot variance to the required 4 foot maximum fence height for a fence in a corner side yard and amendment of zoning district map in a Residential (R-7) District on 0.4 acre known as 1400 Cedar Crossing Trail. Density will be controlled by zoning conditions or ordinance standards. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for Medium Density Residential use (maximum of 2.51 to 4.0 units/acre). Tax ID 732-698-6063.

18AN0118: In Bermuda Magisterial District, Robert R Rhodes requests a special exception to permit a private kennel (keeping of 7 adult dogs) and amendment of zoning district map in a Residential (R-15) District on 1.0 acre known as 13300 Lora Lynn Road and 4501 Forestal Road. Density will be controlled by zoning conditions or ordinance standards. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for residential use (1.5 dwellings per acre or less). 18AR0116: In Bermuda Magisterial District, Christina Fitzgerald requests renewal of a special exception (14AN0152) to permit a one (1) chair beauty shop and amendment of zoning district map in a Residential (R-9) District on 0.5 acre known as 4005 Somer Lane Circle. Density will be controlled by zoning conditions or ordinance standards. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for Suburban Residential II (2.0 to 4.0 dwellings per acre).
